Cytonn HR has been retained by Elective Africa to hire a Digital Marketing Lead to own and optimize digital marketing strategies that convert interest into participation for immersion-based learning and travel programs, while upholding ethical storytelling, transparency, and trust.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage multi-channel digital campaigns for recruitment
- Develop content and storytelling strategies aligned with program goals
- Own paid and organic performance across search, social, and email
- Optimize program landing pages and inquiry journeys
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into action
- Manage CRM workflows and lead nurturing journeys
- Collaborate with program managers, educators, alumni, and partners
- Mentor junior marketing staff or interns
- Ensure ethical, inclusive, and accurate representation of programs
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in digital marketing or communications
- Proven experience managing campaigns end-to-end
- Strong copywriting and content strategy skills
- Experience with analytics, reporting, and optimization
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools
- Experience in education, travel, nonprofit, or purpose-driven sectors
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
- Sensitivity to cultural, ethical, and safety considerations
