Digital Marketing Intern - Immersion & Learning Programs

Cytonn HR has been retained by Elective Africa to hire a motivated and dynamic intern to expand our social media presence. Reporting to the marketing lead, the intern will support recruitment and create awareness for immersion-based learning and travel programs by executing content, social media, email, and website updates that inspire curiosity, trust, and engagement. 

Responsibilities

1. Create and publish content for website program pages, blogs and participant stories, social media and email campaigns
2. Schedule and manage social media posts across key platforms
3. Engage with prospective participants, alumni, and partners online
4. Assist with email campaigns and list segmentation
5. Support SEO tasks (keyword use, page optimization, internal linking)
6. Track and report on basic digital performance metrics
7. Maintain content calendars and campaign schedules
8. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, media, or related field
2. Strong writing and editing skills
3. Understanding of digital marketing channels
4. Familiarity with social media platforms and content tools
5. Comfortable working with data and reports (Excel/Google Sheets)
